RMBE specializes in the following surveys:
Bat Services
Round Mountain conducts mist-netting surveys and cave/portal surveys in areas where proposed projects may affect habitat for federally protected bats. Sometimes, clients call on us to conduct a general baseline bat survey to determine species of bats present on specific properties. We have the capability to identify rare bat species, transmitter and track bats, and conduct acoustical monitoring of bats on project site. We hold collecting permits in KY, WV, and TN.
